Possessive Nouns

·         Possessive nouns are used to show that something belongs to someone.
·         You use an apostrophe (‘) and s
Example: The girl’s toys.
·         If a singular noun ends in s, just add the apostrophe (‘) at the end of the word.
The bus’ engine stopped.
·         If the plural noun ends with an –s, add only the apostrophe (‘).
Example: My friends’ name are Eros and Zahra.
·         If the plural noun does not end with s, add an apostrophe (‘) and to the end of the noun.
Example: We read the peoples articles.
